İstanbul Galatasaray Yelken Kulübü’nden Deniz İyibilir ile start öncesi kısa bir sohbet ettik.
Heyecanı yüzünden okunuyor. Yarışın başlamasını sabırsızlıkla bekliyor ve bir an önce suya çıkıp elinden gelenin en iyisini göstermek istiyor.
Windsurf’te yetenek kadar konsantrasyon, disiplin ve doğru anı beklemek de önemli. Özellikle start yaklaştıkça bütün dikkat yarışa dönüyor ve geriye sadece rüzgâr, su ve hedef kalıyor.
Deniz de tam olarak o anda. TUR 1209’a bol rüzgâr, güzel bir yarış ve başarılar diliyoruz.

We caught up with Deniz İyibilir from Galatasaray Yelken Kulübü in Istanbul just before the start.
You can see the excitement on his face. He cannot wait for the race to begin, get out on the water and give it everything he has.
In windsurfing, talent matters, but so do focus, discipline and knowing when to make your move. As the start gets closer, everything else disappears and it is just you, the wind, the water and the race ahead.
That is exactly where Deniz is right now.
