Bir sporcunun yarışlarda gösterdiği performansı hepimiz görüyoruz. Ama o noktaya gelene kadar arkasında ne kadar emek, sabır ve destek olduğunu çoğu zaman görmüyoruz.
Antrenmanlar, yarışlar, seyahatler, güzel sonuçlar, zor günler ve bazen kıyıdan izlerken yaşanan heyecan. Genç bir sporcunun bu yolculuğunda ailesi de aslında onunla birlikte yarışıyor.
Doruk bugün yüksek seviyede mücadele eden, disiplinli ve hedefleri olan güçlü bir racer. Bu gelişimin arkasında kendi emeği ve antrenmanlarının yanı sıra, ona inanan ve her koşulda yanında olan bir aile var.

Gamze Eder is the mother of Doruk Daniel Eder, TUR 1515, one of MYGA’s accomplished racers.
We all see what an athlete does on the water. What we do not always see is the patience, time and support behind everything it takes to reach that level.
Training sessions, races, travelling, great results, difficult days and all those moments spent watching from the shore with your heart racing. When a young athlete chooses this path, the family becomes part of the journey too.
Today Doruk is a highly competitive racer with discipline, ambition and clear goals. Behind his own hard work and training is also a family that believes in him and stands beside him every step of the way.
This time, we asked Gamze what it feels like to be the mother of a racer and to tell us about Doruk’s windsurfing journey through her eyes.
