Bade Su henüz 14 yaşında ama windsurf’ün onun için ne ifade ettiğini anlatırken söylediği şeyler bizi gerçekten etkiledi.
Hızı seviyor. Board’un su üzerinde hızlanmasını, rüzgârı hissetmeyi ve o özgürlük duygusunu seviyor. Ama windsurf onun için sadece adrenalin ve yarış demek değil.
Bazen arkadaşlarıyla board’larına atlayıp koyun karşı tarafına gidiyorlar. Orada kendi aralarında vakit geçiriyor, sohbet ediyor ve kalabalıktan uzakta denizin sessizliğinin tadını çıkarıyorlar.
14 yaşında bir sporcunun windsurf’ü sadece performansla değil, özgürlük, arkadaşlık ve kendine ayırdığı güzel anlarla da bağdaştırması bize göre çok değerli.
Belki de bu sporu bu kadar özel yapan tam olarak bu.
Sana sadece hızlı olmayı öğretmiyor. Bazen hayatı biraz yavaşlatmayı da öğretiyor.

Bade Su is only 14, but the way she described what windsurfing means to her really stayed with us.
She loves the speed. She loves feeling the board accelerate across the water, the wind around her and that incredible sense of freedom. But for her, windsurfing is not only about adrenaline and racing.
Sometimes she and her friends simply grab their boards and surf across to the other side of the bay. They hang out together, talk and enjoy the peace and quiet away from everything else.
We think it is pretty special that at 14 she already sees windsurfing as more than performance. For her, it is also about freedom, friendship and having those little moments to yourself that make life better.
Maybe that is exactly what makes this sport so special.
It does not only teach you how to go fast. Sometimes it teaches you how to slow life down too.
